"My stay at the Mountaineer Hotel is one that I will never forget, and it will now and forever have a place in my heart. From the moment when I first walked in, the stunning architecture and antiques that filled the hotel lobby enamored me. Throughout the entirety of my stay the receptionist was constantly working to provide us the best stay possible.”

"My husband and I were married and held our reception at the Mountaineer Hotel. Many of our guest were from out of town and were totally mesmerized by how beautifully everything had been restored. Even guest from the area who had never actually seen the inside since all the renovation were totally amazed. When you stepped through the door you were instantly swept up in the integrity and masterful elegance of a time long forgotten. We could not have chosen a better place for the ceremony (particularly the entrance of the wedding party and the bride and groom from the long winding staircase). The reception area was elegant and inviting. The menu was chef prepared to perfection by the owner Mark Mitchell. The prime rib was by far the best we and many others had ever tasted and is still talked about today. No one could believe that this lovely little piece of heaven was located in downtown Williamson. It was everything the big cities lay claim to that gives them their bragging rights sat right down in the middle of a small little town. We can not say enough good."
